Ways to minimize that double Chin

I have always struggled with a little extra fat/skin under my chin regardless of my weight. Throughout the years I have realized this is a common complaint for many others. Believe it not there are things you could be doing that are making your double chin worse such as:

  • Slumping and slouching. When you sit for long periods of time with your head down and your shoulders slumped forward, there are a number of things going on.  Not only are you developing bad posture, you are losing flexibility and most importantly, the muscles in the front of your neck are weakening. This promotes a favorable environment for a double chin. To reverse this, always sit upright and keep your chin up and forward.

To make matters worse we now live in the world of selfies so if you have a double chin you are often reminded of it often, unless if you have mastered how to angle your face so it doesn’t show.I have researched and researched ways to minimize that double Chin.

Creams
There are a lot of products on the market and the prices vary. One thing I noticed is that often times the price tag can be misleading because I found products that were 10 bucks and products that were 130 that had identical ingredients so don’t be fooled by the price tag.

Make up

Excercises:
This your best bet for long term results as makeup is only temporary. Doing the exercises are actually simple and you can do them while stuck in traffic or watching tv.

 

Tip

*Chew gum. You may not have thought that something as simple as chewing gum can help with a double chin, but it can. It works the muscles in the face and jawline, making tighter and promoting more calorie expenditure. This can help tighten the area under the chin, as well.
