Salads are the perfect summer food. With temperatures rising here in the northeast to the upper 90’s, I have been looking at salad options. What I like about salads the less prep time, salads are refreshing, and healthier depending on what you put in it. I was sent a Suddenly Salad prize pack which consisted of Suddenly Salad mixes, the Classic and Beacon & Ranch, and a cooler picnic bag with blanket.
Ingredients & Recipe
- 1 box Betty Crocker® Suddenly Salad® classic pasta salad mix
- Boil water and olive oil as instructed on salad mix box
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of sliced celery
- 1/2 cup of sliced green peppers
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion, slices cut in half
- 4 oz crumbled feta cheese (1 cup)
- In large bowl, stir together seasoning mix, water and olive oil. Stir in pasta and remaining ingredients except feta cheese. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately, or refrigerate. I think it taste better after it’s been refrigerated.
